John Griffin

John is passionate about entrepreneurship and the Hartford youth. This combination has been the driving force behind his thirty-six years teaching career all in the Hartford School system and now with his work with Junior Achievement, Networking for Teaching Entrepreneurship (NFTE) and Pathway Entrepreneurial Labs (PELabs). As Director of PELabs he believes that all interns need strong character skills that will help them gain personal wealth (discipline, integrity, a positive attitude, an ability to tackle adversity) as well as providing a workplace to inspire creativity, think entrepreneurially, and develop professionally. He hires interns from different schools and has one major goal; to be an internship with a mission grounded in the conviction that all interns can – and should – make a difference in the world.
